About Us

The core of Worden’s wine club is made up of Tim France, Chris Niswanger, and Allan Nielsen. Combined, they have over 80 years experience in the wine trade. When Tim and Chris first became interested and involved with wine over thirty years ago, they had the good fortune to find many mentors who were willing to teach them and train them about fine wines. Chris worked for a wine distributor before joining Worden’s, where Tim was in the retail end of the business. Both Tim and Chris have travelled extensively at the invitation of distributors, importers, and vineyards to places such as France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, South Africa, Argentina, Oregon, Washington and California. Alan, while a relative “newcomer”, has excellent knowledge and tasting experience, and has embraced the trade wholeheartedly over the past nine years. He is continually researching and finding new and exciting wines from diverse regions.

On the national side of Worden’s Wine Club is Jeff Gregg, who runs the Salem, Oregon operation. Jeff brings with him many years of experience in sales and customer services. His love and apreciation of wines harkens back to earlier days, when he was a sales rep and would call on Tim and Exie France at Worden’s. Often, they would conclude the days business with a fine wine.

Worden’s has a solid reputation with customers for not only providing a wonderful array of fine wines, but also for their good customer service and competitive pricing. The loyal following of customers that Worden’s enjoys, is a testimony to the hard work and dedication by all of the Worden’s staff, and their desire to share their love of wines with others.
