Situated at the confluence of the Dordogne and Garrone rivers in Bordeaux, Chateau Reignac was purchased by Yves Vatelot in 1990. Vatelot has invested a great deal of time and money in an effort to elevate the Chateau’s wines to the quality of some of the best in Bordeaux. The influence of consulting winemaker Michael Rolland, who works with the likes of Harlan in Napa Valley, has led to a modern style of wine that drinks well without the need for extended cellaring.
