While most wine-makers add Merlot or some other Bordeaux varietal to their Cab, Fuse adds a significant portion of Syrah. The result is a wine with rich fruit and an expressive nose that is more exotic than you might expect. We have had quite a bit of experience with this wine, and have found it is absolutely essential to give it a lot of air in order for it to show at its best. Our favorite way to enjoy this wine is to pop the cork the night before you plan to drink it. Try some to see how you feel about it, then put the cork back in and enjoy the transformation on day two.
