This is the first vintage of the regular Cotes du Rhone bottling that has been available to us, and we were very impressed by the value it offers. From Robert Parker’s review: "The delicious 2009 Cotes du Rhone (50% Grenache and the rest Syrah, Cinsault and Carignan) possesses a perfumed nose of ripe strawberries, black cherries, loamy soil, lavender and spice box. Medium-bodied, luscious, hedonistic and complex, it should be consumed over the next several years."
